The property borders the Waterman Hospital, a 204 bed state of the art facility which opened in late 2003. One half of the property is entitled for 900 residential units, and the other half should also be approved for the same amount. The hospital needs residential units for its growing employee base, and retiree’s are attracted to the location near the hospital.
